Most businesses and restaurants in Abaco are available via What’s App, the international calling and messaging platform.  Most will also have a phone number to call with questions. Businesses also use Facebook and websites to publish the hours, menu’s and other information.

Golf carts, bikes, & boats are the main transportation options for guests on island. Please see our Transportation section for info on rentals.

Elbow Reef Lighthouse 

Located across the Harbour in Hope Town the Historic Elbow Reef Lighthouse was built in 1862 and is the only remaining active and manned Kerosene burning light station in the world! Visitors can climb the 101 steps to the top and take in the stunning 360 birds eye view.  Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm, closed on Sundays.

Wyannie Malone Historical Museum

Located in the center of Hope Town the Wyannie Malone Historical Museum offers a glimpse into lives of early settlers of Hope Town. The Museum is still currently under going renovation and is due to reopen in Feb. 2023 Currently open is their beautiful gift shop “Ebb Tide” offering many handmade goods from all corners of the Bahamas.  Open 9:30-5PM Monday - Saturday
